PIOUS WOMEN

Umme ‘A t iyyah ra d iyallâhu ‘anhâ

She is a S a h âbiyah and participated in six battles with Rasûlullâh s allallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam . She used to tend to the sick and wounded, bandage them, etc. She used to love Rasûlullâh s allallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam so much that whenever she mentioned his name, she used to say: "May my father and mother be sacrificed for you."

Lesson : O women! Strive in Dînî matters and love Rasûlullâh s allallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam just as this woman loved him.
