Subject: Valid marriage?

Assalaam-o-Alaikum
I am a divorced woman with a child and I traveled to California in 2000 and I am from Singapore. The day I arrived in California, I married to an Arab Muslim man whom I met on the Internet. I told my father after the Nikaah and he is fine with it as long I am happy. I did not ask his permission before I married nor did he say out loud that he allows me to use Wali Hakeem but he is happy with my marriage. At that marriage we did it in a house; with my second husband's friend as Wali Hakeem and he did the Nikah and he is also a witness along with another man as a witness. This Wali Hakeem is very religious. Please tell me is my marriage valid? So far I have not been pregnant yet.

Assalaam-o-Alaikum
Reference your query dated 30-3-2002. If your previous hasband has divorced you in regular order and your Iddah-Period was complete before 2nd Nikah and if this second Nikah has been solemnized in presence of Two Muslims besides you both husband and wife then every thing is all right.
